After winning an amazing flap of strawberries one weekend from one of the farms in the lower mainland I decided to make “strawberry muffins” and “strawberry cream cheese cake” as well as freezing some for the winter days, use some for delicious smoothies and gave some to a neighbour of mine who is always kind to us.
I had so many muffins that I took some to work and offered them there: they only lasted about 10 minutes and they were all gone……..nothing left to waste. The cake was used for our morning healthy snack at work.
Sundays are usually spent baking/cooking for the week to ensure we have a healthy stock to pick from.
